چکیده
Congenital rubella syndrome is a constellation of birth defects that can have devastating consequences, impacting approximately 100,000 births worldwide each year. The incidence much lower in countries routinely vaccinate their population. In the US, postnatal immunization susceptible women an important epidemiological strategy for prevention as Center Disease Control (CDC) does not recommend administering this vaccine during pregnancy due to its nature live attenuated virus vaccine. However, concerns co-administration with other immunoglobins (i.e., Rhogam) could compromise efficacy has produced warnings delay administration vaccination postpartum, leaving disease subsequent pregnancies. We aimed address whether measles, mumps, and (MMR) Rhogam decreased antibody responses compared those receiving only MMR vaccination. This retrospective cohort study utilized clinical data from 78 subjects who received after delivery 45 alone. Maternal demographics, complications status at start were recorded analysis. Overall, two cohorts had similar baseline characteristics; however, parity was noted participants both Rhogam. Making assessments based on maternal IgG index next pregnancy, we observed 88% + group positive serology scores, which significantly different 80% rate MMR-vaccine-only (p = 0.2). conclusion, no differences immunity pregnancies mothers given concurrently. Given these findings, against vaccines combination appear unwarranted.

Cytokine profile after rubella vaccine inoculation: evidence of the immunosuppressive effect of vaccination.
BACKGROUND AND AIM Immunization with live virus vaccines may cause an immunosuppression with lymphopaenia, impaired cytokine production and defective lymphocyte response to mitogenes. These abnormalities were described in subjects vaccinated against measles. This study was performed to analyse the host immune response related to immunosuppression in subjects vaccinated with live attenuated rube...
متن کاملNeurologic disorders after measles-mumps-rubella vaccination.
OBJECTIVE The possibility of adverse neurologic events has fueled much concern about the safety of measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccinations. The available evidence concerning several of the postulated complications is controversial. The aim of this study was to assess whether an association prevails between MMR vaccination and encephalitis, aseptic meningitis, and autism. METHODS A retrospect...

OBJECTIVE To assess the postulated causal association between measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccination and Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). STUDY DESIGN Active retrospective study based on linkage of the nationwide hospital discharge register with individual vaccination records. All patients hospitalized for treatment of GBS in Finland between November 1982 and December 1986 were included in the...

1043 have been due to direct trauma or haematoma around an aberrantly coursing hypoglossal nerve, we still consider high puncture of the internal jugular vein to be a useful approach. Immunity induced by rubella vaccines must persist throughout the childbearing years, a period of about 30 years. We have reported persistence of rubella antibody at values exceeding 15 000 IU/l in 89 4% of volunte...
